Orchid Cellmark owns and operates four fully accredited DNA laboratories in North America, offering multiple DNA technologies including autosomal STR’s, Y-STR’s and mitochondrial DNA analyses. These additional technologies allow us to resolve cases that might otherwise be difficult to resolve.

Orchid Cellmark is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks, New York State Department of Health and maintains accreditation in accordance with ISO 17025 standards. In addition to maintaining these accreditations, our staff participates in regular proficiency tests to ensure high quality standards are maintained.

5. Quick Results
Orchid Cellmark routine paternity and maternity test results are completed within 3 business days from receipt of sample, with turnaround times of 1 and 2 days available for a surcharge.

6. All-Inclusive Pricing
Unlike many of other DNA testing companies, Orchid Cellmark provides comprehensive, all-inclusive pricing. Our quoted price for testing includes specimen collection (within North America), shipping, DNA analysis and shipment of results. You can begin a test with a deposit as little as $100.

Orchid Cellmark is aware that the issue of DNA testing is personal and sensitive. The privacy and security of our clients and their results are important to us. Orchid Cellmark treats all information in confidence. Information of any kind, including reports, is carefully safeguarded.

Orchid Cellmark’s internal quality control standards exceed those mandated by the American Association of Blood Banks and other accrediting agencies. In addition, Orchid Cellmark laboratory personnel participate in third party proficiency tests at least once a year to ensure that high quality standards are maintained.

11. Support from Beginning to End
A DNA laboratory test is complete once the results are formally issued. However Orchid Cellmark staff members are available to answer questions regarding interpretation of results and to provide written opinions and expert testimony at any time after results are issued.
