Typically test results are available within 3-5 business days after receipt of the samples.

Are Heritage ID results admissible in court?
As long as the samples for a Heritage ID test were taken in accordance with Orchid Cellmark’s Chain of Custody specifications, the Heritage ID profile can be used later on as part of a court ready paternity or kinship test.

How should I store the Heritage ID card?
Keep the Heritage ID card in a safe place that you will have quick and easy access to in the event they are needed. Samples should be protected from direct sunlight and stored at room temperature where temperatures do not go above 75º F or below 40º F.
