We understand that the needs of an attorney are often different from the needs of the tested parties and therefore we have individuals within our Call Center who act as the contact for Attorneys only. Our Attorney Specialists can be reached at 1-800-DNA-TEST option 4 at any time.

We respect and value your time. To that end, we offer attorneys the option to purchase services through our secure on-line system or by using application forms which can be downloaded, completed and faxed or mailed. Alternatively, if you prefer, you may call our Attorney Specialist to order over the phone.

Once your order is received, we will make all arrangements for the secure collection and shipment of cheek swabs or other appropriate samples, as needed, for your case. Unless otherwise requested, you do not need to be involved in this process.

We offer our assurance that all tests requested by an attorney will be conducted using our strict Chain of Custody procedures which will document the identity of the tested parties and will ensure the secure transportation of all samples to our testing laboratory as well as throughout the testing process. Our laboratory is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks, the New York State Department of Health as well as ISO17025 accrediting agencies. Orchid Cellmark laboratories also participate in numerous proficiency tests to ensure the continual high performance of our laboratory in the DNA testing field.

All results will be signed by one of our many Ph.D.’s, notarized, and will contain a statement of accreditation thus ensuring its acceptance as evidence in a legal matter. Typical DNA paternity testing results take 3 business days and will be sent to all attorneys and government agencies by courier. This service is included as part of our standard service, at no additional fee.

Finally, Orchid Cellmark’s outstanding customer services extend beyond the distribution of results. We provide assistance in the interpretation of results or in the confirmation of the identity of tested parties or to answer any other technical question you might have. We also provide expert testimony if needed although our DNA testing results have not been challenged in the legal arena in many years.
